Steve SpurrierI actually believe that Spurrier is under contract some how with Florida and is there to sabotage the Gamecocks chances in the SEC. Seriously, I remember when Spurrier first came to USC how they touted him as a saviour. Now grant it, he's a little tougher with the players then Holtz was when it came to them getting in trouble with the law, but it seems that's the only thing that's changed with the program. |

Steve SpurrierSouth Carolina will be better in the near future I believe.Just as when Holtz came in, Spurrier was left with a empty cupboard.Holtz was under extreme pressure to resign the year before he left, because of improprieties in the recruiting and handling of players.Carolina lost many players after the Clemson fight in 2004. Spurrier canned a dozen of them for this or that offence.It showed in this years senior class that just graduated. We had only 12 seniors.The previous year we only had 14.So this is |
