Jeff Francoeur

I hate to see a guy like Jeff Francoeur struggle. He's the future of the Braves. The next Chipper Jones and my favorite Brave's player next to John Smoltz and Chipper Jones. Some of the pressure needs to be put on Terry Pendleton for the Brave's lack of hitting. It seems like the talent is there. It could be there's to much pressure and they're not only trying to hard but working to hard. Relax Braves! It will come.

Don't Do It Favre!

Brett Favre retired and now there are rumors that he wants to make a come back. I think it will be a mistake for Brett Favre to come back to the Green Bay Packers. It would be unfair to his team mates and Aaron Rogers. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind a Favre comeback but not to the Packers. Joe Montana went to the Chiefs why not Favre go else where? It would not tarnish his legacy just as it didn't tarnish Montana's legacy. At the sametime if he wanted to come back the fans, owners, players, coaches.. everyone owes it to Brett Favre to allow him to come back not the other way around. He's done alot for not only the sport but the Green Bay Packers.

Jimmy Johns

Sometimes I get frustrated with the media for negative coverage. Jimmy Johns was dismissed by Nick Saban from the University of Alabama's football team less than two hours after being booked in jail for selling cocaine. The media coverage after that is pointless.
This is a 21 year old who wasted his talent and deserves some kind of idiot award. On top of that the same can be said about Kenny Stabler's alcohol problems. Kenny Stabler has had multiple DUIs and has endangered lives. There's a double standard between to two. Jimmy Johns is tossed aside while Kenny Stabler gets an open arm of support. Jimmy John's future may be very dim right now but doesn't he deserve some help?
God wouldn't put people through things if he didn't think people couldn't get through it. Maybe this is their calling to over come this and reach out to others who get into situations like this because alcohol and drugs are becoming a bigger problem in today's society. People tend to listen to someone who has gone through tough times and hopefully these two guys can over come their obstacles and reach out and maybe save a life.

Nick Saban Behind His Quarterback

There's no QB controversy in bible belt Alabama unless you're a fan and if you doubt John Parker Wilson then Nick Saban suggest before you go to bed at night that you pray John Parker Wilson has a good year. So Alabama fans don't forget your prayers! It's your religion.

"Let me just say this," Saban said. "Every time a Tide fan puts their head on their pillow, they ought to hope and pray that John Parker has a good year. Because the best chance that we have to have a good team and have a good season rests on the fact that he's a two-year starter and he's improved as a quarterback and played with more consistency."

Roll Tide!!
